What data we collect
When you use the ClearShip calculator, we do not store or log any of the information you enter — not your product description, value, weight, or destination country. Each calculation is processed in real time and nothing is retained after the response is sent. We have no database of user calculations.
Cookies
ClearShip uses minimal, functional cookies only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not set non-essential cookies.
Server logs
Our web server may retain standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, HTTP status code) for security and operational purposes. These logs do not contain the content of your calculations and are not shared with third parties. They are deleted on a rolling basis.
Your rights under UK GDPR
ClearShip is governed by UK GDPR. Because we do not store personal data from calculations, there is typically no data to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, or if you have any privacy question, please contact us at privacy@clearship.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle data, we will update this page. We will not notify you by email unless we begin collecting email addresses in future.
